Hunter is a thoughtfully designed duplex created in collaboration with Liefting Merlo Homes, delivering flexible, modern family living within a refined architectural framework. The design is anchored by its striking symmetrical façade, where crafted brickwork forms a thermally efficient envelope and introduces an expressive hit-and-miss pattern. This perforated screen balances privacy with openness, allowing filtered light and air to animate the façade while establishing a calm, sheltered interior environment within a dense urban context.

The architectural character of the exterior continues seamlessly inside, where a double-height exposed brick wall connects the two storeys and acts as a unifying feature across the home’s living spaces. This element not only supports passive thermal performance but creates a warm, textural backdrop for everyday family life. A complementary palette of refined materials and gentle curves softens the robust structure, resulting in interiors that feel both grounded and sophisticated.
