Our Approach

At CKA Studio, architecture is the foundation of everything we do. Our design approach is thoughtful, rigorous, and deeply collaborative, shaped by decades of experience across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

Led by our talented team of Melbourne architects and designers, we work closely with clients to develop site-responsive, purpose-driven spaces that enhance the way people live, work, and connect. Our process balances creativity with clarity, pairing bold design thinking with a strong understanding of planning frameworks, construction methodologies, and end-user needs.

Whether a project is small-scale or complex, we place equal emphasis on form and function. Each design is guided by context, sustainability, and long-term value, delivering architecture that is not only beautiful, but also buildable, enduring, and environmentally responsible.

With architecture, interiors, and town planning all under one roof, our studio is uniquely positioned to offer a fully integrated design journey. This connected approach ensures consistency across every stage, from concept to completion, and results in cohesive, high-performing outcomes tailored to every client.

What our clients say

Amber Merlo | Byron Bay House
"My husband's building company has been working with Kairouz for 8 years, completing 6 projects, including the recent renovation of our 23-year-old home near Byron Bay. Despite restrictions due to the property being on a protected nature reserve, Kairouz transformed our dated house into a modern luxury dwelling, all within the existing envelope. Their design concept was impeccable, seamlessly blending contemporary elements with the property's existing structure. Communication and collaboration were excellent throughout the project, and they consistently met deadlines and budget expectations."

"One of the greatest parts of the job is being able to be relied upon, to be trusted and to really impact people's lives."
