Kirra Gardens is a considered and contextually responsive development that redefines medium-density living in Camberwell. Comprising 44 apartments, the project balances heritage-inspired design language with modern sensibilities to deliver sustainable, high-quality homes that integrate seamlessly within their established suburban setting.
Situated on a complex and highly visible site, the design team collaborated closely with council and aligned with state policy to address the growing demand for diverse and affordable housing along Melbourne’s growth corridors. The U-shaped building layout was carefully planned to optimise natural light and ventilation, enhance privacy, and create a central communal space that encourages interaction and belonging among residents.
Two distinct interior design schemes provide flexibility and individuality, offering residents the opportunity to tailor their home to their preferences and lifestyle—whether downsizers seeking comfort and elegance, or young professionals drawn to contemporary, low-maintenance living.
