Cole St

Cole Street consisted of a dual-occupancy application for two double-storey dwellings, supported by the demolition of the existing house and the removal of ageing vegetation to create a more efficient and context-responsive redevelopment outcome. The design was tailored to integrate with the surrounding neighbourhood character while optimising the site’s residential potential. The land was affected by the Development Contributions Plan Overlay, requiring careful management of planning obligations throughout the process. The project progressed through the full statutory pathway — including representation at VCAT — resulting in an outcome that aligned with local policy, strategic objectives, and the site’s broader urban context.
